This manual is evidence-based guidance for service providers, project managers, and frontline workers who address issues related to online gender-based violence (GBV) and technology-facilitated violence.
The manual outlines how to establish a remote or in-person case management and psychosocial services provision system and is intended to:
- Unpack he consequences of cyberviolence on women’s lives in the MENA region.
- Provide guidance on effective case management and psychosocial support to survivors.
- Suggest a referral pathway for case managers.
- Outline basic psychological first aid.
- Advise on how to provide effective and secure remote and online services.
- Provide guidance on how to prevent burnout and other psychological consequences that can result from working with survivors of GBV.
